Randy Baron was born in 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky. He has lived there his entire life except when traveling to explore the world. He was educated at the University of Florida where the game of bridge found him and the passion for it grabbed his soul. After graduation, he decided to earn his living in bridge, because as they say, “If you do what you enjoy, you never work a day in your life.” He became a partner in the Olympic Bridge Club in Louisville before starting Baron Bridge Supplies in 1974. His wife Mary and he ran the company out of their garage in Simpsonville, Kentucky in the early days.
