COVID-19 Response
A letter to our Baron Barclay Community:
As we face the ever-changing circumstances related to COVID-19, we find ourselves having to make unprecedented decisions about how to run our business. Given what we know today, we believe it’s our duty as a business to do what we can to slow the spread of the virus and minimize the impact on our hardworking healthcare professionals.
Amongst this uncertainty, we are focused on keeping our staff, customers, and community safe. We have made the decision to keep our online business running so that our loyal customers can still access our products, and we are focused on taking the appropriate measures to keep our small team as safe as possible. We’re only an office of 7 people, but we don’t want to put anyone at risk. As such, we are taking the following steps to protect our staff and customers from the virus:
- We will be working with a limited warehouse staff, to keep our at-risk employees safe. That means that our shipping schedule may change slightly in the coming weeks. You probably won’t notice a difference, but we wanted to keep you informed.
- In an effort to maintain our regular shipping schedule, we will have limited office hours, and won't be able to take as many phone orders as usual. Our normal office hours are M-F, 8am-4pm EST. Our current office hours are M-F, 8am-2pm EST. If you can't reach us by phone, you can order online, leave us a voicemail, or email mary@baronbarclay.com.
- We are following safety guidelines, and all surfaces, doorknobs, desks, etc. are being sanitized at frequent intervals throughout the day. All employees are required to wash their hands regularly, and wear gloves to pack orders.
- Our office staff will be working from home, and will be checking our email regularly, so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
As the situation surrounding COVID-19 rapidly changes, we will continue to evolve our response to it. While we can’t predict what will happen in the coming weeks, we can promise to keep you informed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Stay safe,
Baron Barclay
